Policies and Pricing
We require a $300 non-refundable deposit for each puppy. If desired, first choice is an additional $200. After that, the first to make a deposit has the next choice to select a puppy, and so on. Deposits are non-transferable. If we do not have the sex you reserved for, we will refund your deposit, or hold it for the next litter, whichever you prefer.
You may pay via check (cleared before receiving puppy), cash, direct deposit or PayPal (add 3%).
Returned checks will be assessed a $45 fee.

Pedigrees will be offered only after we receive proof that your puppy has been spayed/neutered and has received additional vaccines for distemper, adenovirus [hepatitis], parainfluenza and rabies. I. f your dog will be outside and around other dogs, you should also consider a parvovirus vaccination. We require that you provide this information before the puppy reaches the age of 14 months.
Spay or neuter is not recommended before the age of six months, and waiting a year is better.
You may not breed an Agate Bay dog without express written permission from Agate Bay.
Remedies include repossession of dog and any resulting pups and/or compensation of any monies collected for puppies or breeding.
We reserve the right to stop any transaction at our discretion.
In that case, your deposit will be refunded, less a $45 service fee.
If for any reason you choose not to keep the puppy, we will take it back.
If the puppy is not being cared for properly, Agate Bay reserves the right
to repossess it. No refund will be offered.
We strive to place our puppies in loving, able homes. If you live within or are willing
to travel to an area on the map below, we are willing to meet you with your puppy.
We charge $106/hour (a one-way hour, including gas) plus $180 for any drive over 5 1/2 hours.
(Travel fees cannot be refunded if you do not accept the puppy.
With gas prices so much in flux, these fees may change without notice.)
Example: Seattle is 1 1/2 hours away. Our fee would be $86 x 1.5 hours = $129.00

CARE CONTRACT
I agree to provide all grooming, vaccinations, deworming and medical care, to spay/neuter my puppy on or before (s)he reaches 14 months of age but not before six months of age, and to provide the required veterinary paperwork.
I further agree not to remove dewclaws unless medically necessary.

Seller's Guarantee:
Our puppies have been examined and deemed healthy by our veterinarian. They have had their first shots and have been dewormed. We will accept the return of any puppy, but no refund will be given.
By signing below, I agree to the Buyer's Responsibilities and I understand that there is no health guarantee. I accept all terms and conditions of this contract. I further understand that if I do not provide adequate care, the puppy/dog may be returned to Agate Bay with no compensation.
